About Us

Inspector's Referral Service was founded in 1994 when four Professional Home Inspectors joined resources with a common goal to provide quality inspections with comprehensive, computer generated, timely and price sensitive reports. Since our inception, IRS has performed over 25,000 inspections in the greater Houston area.

Inspector's Referral Service requires each inspector to complete an intensive training program in addition to being licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission, prior to their first inspection. We provide general liability insurance on each inspector, though we have never had to file a claim. Our home inspectors are men of integrity that you can trust; our company is built on Christian standards and family values.
